Return Policy for Furniture & Custom Orders
Peartree offers complete replacement of defective products and we cover all
additional shipping costs so that you have no additional out of pocket
expenses. We also insure all furniture for freight damage in the event that
a product is damaged during delivery. But keep in mind, that almost all
furnishings at Peartree are custom ordered and as a result, non-returnable,
so be sure of your selections before you order, as we want you to be happy
with your purchase.

You have up to three business days to contact us to cancel any furniture or
custom order and have the amount refunded to your credit card. After three
days furniture and custom orders are non-refundable unless we can cancel
the order with the manufacturer and get full reimbursement.


If there are damages due to shipping, they must be reported within 3 days so
we can file a claim or are null and void. If the product has defects,
they must be reported within 7 days or are null and void.
Please try to call or email us immediately after arrival for damaged property.


Return Policy for Gifts & Accessories (non-furniture items)
To exchange or return a non furniture item please contact us by email or phone
within 7 days to receive authorization. Please let us know the reason for the
return or exchange. For returns on gifts, quilts & accessories that
are not damaged or defective we are required to charge a 25% restocking fee.
All items must be returned in their original, unworn and unused condition within
30 days for a refund. Shipping fees are non-refundable. If for any reason
you need to return a non-defective item with free shipping, the shipping price will
be deducted from your return.

Swatches
Our website features swatches of all of the paint, finish, hardware, and fabric
samples available for our items. Please be aware that colors viewed online vary
from one computer to the next. If you have doubt about the color selection,
please email us for swatches. There is a $25.00 security deposit for swatches,
but will be refunded when you return the swatch to us. Please email or phone
us with details about what samples you would like to borrow, including your email,
phone number and mailing address. As long as all swatches are returned to us
within 15 days of receipt there is no charge. Please note that even with swatches,
our high quality furniture does have finishes that vary from the swatches.
This is typical of high quality, custom furniture that is not made by machines.


Measuring
Measure carefully and correctly to ensure that the product fits. We do our best to
include all dimensions whenever possible. Please make sure that you can
get the furniture into your house and that it will fit through any doors,
stairs, banisters and around any corners it may need to travel. Think about
obstacles that might get in the way. If you have any doubts, do not order the
furniture until you are certain it will fit.
